Porcelain Dolls from Petticoat Lane MODERN DOLLS ..As much as I love antique dolls, I also get a lot of enjoyment out of the modern dolls. There are many doll artists out there today that produce some very lifelike dolls, everything from babies to lady dolls and plenty in between. They are fun to make and allow for a bit more freedom of expression than the reproduction antiques. However, I find that I end up dressing many of my modern dolls in antique styles.
